Epic American bike brand Hyper was born from the world of BMX. Now they focus on manufacturing high-quality E-Bikes as well as traditional models.
The Hyper E-Ride Electric Bike with 29” wheels is bar far one of Hyper’s most popular options. In a stylish sleek black color, the bike features a comfortable Shimano grip shifter and a savvy rear derailleur gear system.
At 29” the bike also includes front and rear V-Brakes. This allows for enhanced stopping power when you need to brake quickly or unexpectedly.
Front suspension forks make for a comfortable ride on various terrains. You are not relegated to flat land on the Hyper E-Ride, something comparable bikes cannot include in their specs.
The Hyper E-Ride also has an innovative integrated flush-mounted battery, as well as a rear hub brushless motor. The battery can charge in a scant 4 hours (comparable bikes take 6 to 8 hours of charge) and can last for about 20 miles. The battery also detaches for easy in-home charging.
While the top speed is just 20 MPH, this bike is not intended for speed, so much as comfort and rideability. Models with speeds up to 50 MPH tend to be more for off-road use and can include hefty price tags.
