Himiway Bikes was first founded in 2017 on the core idea that quality products could be made available at competitive prices. Based in Chino, California, this brand prides itself on crafting bikes that stand the test of time. With a full range of electric bikes, any model you desire can be yours. Today we’re going to focus on the popular Himiway Fat Step Thru bike, a versatile ride that’s built-to-last.

Let’s start by talking about the Himiway Fat Stepthru battery. After all, an electric bike is only as good as the battery it contains. The Himiway is well-equipped with a large Samsung 48V  17.5 Ah Lithium Ion battery to ensure a longer than average lifespan and the best performance possible. Given the size of the battery, riders can expect to get over 60 miles on a single charge with pedal assist engaged and around 35 miles on electric power mode. In contrast, other bikes cannot even garner 30 miles on pedal assist.

This is a powerful bike. With a 750W high-speed brushless gear hub motor and 80Nm of torque, you can take on any terrain with ease. The motor can easily pull you up steep hills and inclines. After stopping, you can reach top speed quickly without the noise or calamity many electric bikes can make. Speaking of hills, the Shimano 7-speed freewheel system allows you to shift to a much larger cog when riding uphill. You can also downshift to a smaller cog when traveling at very high-speeds downhill. In conjunction with the pedal assist, you can adjust the speed to whatever variable you choose on your ride.

Once you’ve reached those top speeds, you can stop on a dime, even on wet or uncertain terrain. The front and rear 180mm mechanical disc brakes provide excellent stopping power without drag or the feeling of being “thrown off” the front of the bike. Alloy front suspension forks offer 80mm of travel, lockout, and preload adjustment for a smooth ride even on rough trails. The Ecotric also offers a unique half-twist throttle with an optional on/off button to prevent an accidental activation from novice riders.

Is the Himiway All Terrain Step Thru right for you? It might be a great fit if you want a powerful bike with a large enough battery to take you all the way on your journey. Though priced at $1399, the bike offers up excellent features for the money. Whether you’re a novice rider or an experienced cyclist, this bike has something for everyone.
